Doris Hangartner is delighted to introduce the first-of-its-kind NFT gem collection on Opensea.io. This idea was born from a wish to combine various new worlds – new era gems, with innovative imagery presented as an NFT artwork.
Invest in mesmerizing NFT artworks with all their vibrancy and charisma, brought to life by collaborating photographer Leo Bieber. The possibilities in this virtual space are infinite, often just like the glow of a gem. Dive in and immerse yourself in the essence of these gems.

Doris Hangartner is a Graduate Gemologist (GG GIA) and private jeweler in Zurich, specializing in colored stones. In 1992 she completed her Graduate Gemologist (GG) degree at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Santa Monica, CA.
Over the years she has gained profound knowledge of gems and jewelry. Doris describes herself as a ‘gem voice’.
In 2014 she founded Doris Hangartner AG, specializing in sourcing exquisite gems, finding your gem match and in building gem portfolios.
Individualized in-house designs are created into beautiful jewelry, all handmade in Switzerland.

Photoart of rare gemstones on the highest level: These NFTs are inviting the viewers to a whole new way of experiencing gemstones. Imagine viewing a gem from different perspectives and connecting with its character and personality. These NFTs are designed to let the viewer immerse themselves in the colors, shapes and reflections of each gemstone and truly feel its unique essence on a deeper level.

Each gemstone is captured from three different views: the Gem Personality showing the gemstone in its entire beauty, the Gem Reflection, displaying the reflections of the gemstone on its surroundings, and the Gem Dive, revealing the minute details of the gemstone.

Prices for the initial drop were set at [0.3] ETH for Gem Personality NFTs and [0.2] ETH for Gem Reflection NFTs and Gem Dive NFTs. Pricing of future NFT drops will take into consideration the floor price of existing NFTs so as to avoid a negative impact on existing NFT holders.

We only set prices when the NFTs are initially dropped. Afterwards the prices are subject to free market dynamics which means that the price of each NFT may increase or decrease depending on market demand.

There is a hard cap on our Gem Personalities collection of 100 NFTs which means that each of these 1/1 NFTs will remain rare.

No, when creating the NFTs we “freeze” the artwork and metadata so that all content is permanently stored in a decentralized file storage and cannot be edited nor removed.

You own the original version of the respective 1/1 Gem Personalities NFT with ownership provable on the Ethereum blockchain. As with any artwork, there may be thousands of copies, but only you own the original.
You can use the NFT for your digital personality e.g. as profile picture on Twitter and can show your passion for beautiful gemstones.
As a Gem Personalities holder you will automatically be whitelisted for any future NFT projects by Doris Hangartner and you will be eligible for future NFT airdrops.
